With rising crime rates in Democrat-run cities and states around the country becoming a major focus, we are trying to spotlight defund the police politicians.
Stacey Abrams claims that she is not one, but the facts tell a different story.
Meanwhile, she is piling up some pretty impressive private security bills the people of Georgia may be interested in.
Let’s Talk Facts
Stacey Abrams is on the board of a Seattle-based organization that openly touts its abolish the police and defund the police narrative.
This organization funds many other organizations devoted to defunding the police.
It also launched an initiative supported by Abrams called “Answer the Uprising.”
Abrams claims she never supported defunding the police, but she has, and even admitted they are just calling it something else.
In 2020, Abrams stated, “We have to have a transformation of how we view the role of law enforcement, how we view the construct of public safety, and how we invest not only in the work that we need them to do to protect us but the work that we need to do to protect and build our communities.
“And that’s the conversation we’re having: We’ll use different language to describe it, but fundamentally we must have reformation and transformation.”
When Abrams was asked about priorities for funding regarding community or policing, she stated, “We have to reallocate resources, so, yes.
“If there is a moment where resources are so tight that we have to choose between whether we murder Black people or serve Black people, then absolutely: Our choice must be service.”
Yet, Abrams spent roughly $450,000 on private security from 2021 to the present day.
Additionally, a PAC associated with Abrams has spent $1.2 million with the same Atlanta-based security firm (Executive Protection Agencies – EPA Security).
I am just waiting for the other shoe to drop regarding EPA Security, meaning does she have relatives or friends that run the company.
This is yet another case of rules for thee, not for me, only, in this case, it is security for me, none for thee.
