This morning, a horrifying attack took place on the New York City subway.
The attack occurred in Brooklyn at the 36th Street and Fourth Avenue station in Sunset Park around 8:30 a.m.
There are at least eight wounded victims who were either directly hit by gunfire or shrapnel.
There are numerous other injuries, and this total continues to grow as first responders clear the subway and interview hospital patients that left the area prior to first responders arriving.
Madman on the Loose
According to reports, the alleged shooter released a smoke bomb before opening fire on the commuters.
He was dressed like a subway maintenance worker, wearing an orange vest, but it is unclear at this point if he is actually a transit employee.
He is also about 5’7”, and he was wearing a gas mask at the time of the attack.
It is a fairly safe assumption that he has discarded all that gear already.
Eric Adams ran on a platform to end the de Blasio ridiculousness and return law and order to New York City.
Instead, he has turned the city into a Batman-less Gotham City.
The subway system, in particular, has become a playground for thugs and murderers.
What was once a great city has been turned into an utter cesspool thanks to an unending stream of Democrat mayors and the cowering to the extreme left that is demanding we treat hardened criminals better than law-abiding citizens.
It is time for common sense over wokeism… something the Democrat Party is clearly unable to accommodate.
