Vladimir Putin does not like all this activity surrounding Ukraine.
NATO and some of our allies have diverted assets to the area, which has Russia’s trigger finger getting a bit antsy.
After amassing more than 100,000 troops along the Ukraine border, Putin’s advantage is slowly disappearing.
Now, Putin is putting the West on the clock.

NATO had previously stated that it would defend both its members and countries considering joining NATO.
Over the last year, whispers of Ukraine possibly joining NATO have grown, something Russia does not want to see happen.
In fact, Ukraine being blocked from joining NATO is at the top of Putin’s wish list.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated, “If we do not receive a constructive answer from the west on our security demands, Moscow will take appropriate measures.”
This officially puts Biden on the clock.
The response was made after the United States offered up a list of actions it would take to try to prevent an invasion.
Russia is in a position to conduct an all-out assault on Ukraine, but other measures could be taken to strangle the country, such as a blockade of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.
Putin will look to play his hand while he knows he still has a significant advantage.
It now feels as though this will all come to a conclusion one way or the other over the next few days.
Biden, simply put, cannot afford to have this turn into a military conflict.
If that does happen, this administration and Democrats are ruined.
