I love how Democrats can brutally fail at their job yet somehow become the favorite to run for the highest office in the country.
We saw this with Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, Beto O’Rourke, and now Mayor Eric Adams.
Is He Serious?
Eric Adams has been nothing but a failure for the city of New York.
I openly admit that even though he is a Democrat, after he won, I had hoped his previous background as a police officer would give the city a chance to recover.
He has failed epically, however.
Violent crime rates in New York are horrifying, as we see subway attack stories almost every day now.
Even so, a source close to Adams stated, “Eric has told me repeatedly that he thinks that he has a platform to run for national office, for president in 2024.
“He has said that repeatedly. He thinks New York is a national platform.
“He thinks the national party has gotten too far to the left and he thinks he has a platform to win.”
Adams, of course, has denied the reports, stating, “That’s a silly, silly story. I never had a conversation about that and I love being mayor, and you can run the country from New York City.
“I’m the mayor. That’s all I’m focused on.”
That is a good idea, stay focused, because you are failing that city and we do want you in DC representing the people of this country.
If Adams runs, the entire election would become about race, and that is something we simply cannot afford right now.
Adams has made racist remarks about white officers in the past. That may be okay with New Yorkers, but that is not okay with Americans.
