Why people in this country are so willing to accept blatant government corruption is beyond me.

For example, in yet another pay-to-play scheme, New York’s Democrat Governor Kathy Hochul is paying off donors with significant no-bid contracts.

Yet, she is crushing her Republican opponent simply because he is a Republican.

Stop Rewarding Them

Sadly, far too many voters in this country will put party over anything.

Personally, I don’t care what side of the aisle they are on.

If they are corrupt, I want to expose them and have them removed from office.

In this case, Hochul was rewarding donors who had maxed out contributions with tax breaks and contracts.

Not only that, but she is also costing taxpayers money.

For instance, one donor linked to roughly $300,000 in donations got a no-bid contract for COVID-19 tests.

This is something that was likely paid for with relief money, better known as our tax dollars.

While other vendors were charging between $5 and $6 for the tests, Hochul gave a $637 million contract to the donor that was charging $13 per test.

GOP state Chair Nick Langworthy stated, “She’s been caught with the abuse of power and she’s used it to this date to sell the government out the back door.”

In another instance, a donor that had maxed out contributions had a business that was given a $1 billion tax break, yet Dems constantly rail against Republicans for the tax cuts put in place when Trump was in office.

These are but two of the allegations against Hochul, yet she is crushing Republican Lee Zeldin in recent polling.

For instance, Hochul leads 50 to 35 percent in the latest Emerson College pool.

Normally I would say New York is getting what it deserves, but this is federal tax money being wasted, which impacts us all.
