Last week, reports broke that Biden administration officials were working with social media outlets to censor posts regarding COVID.

The question was just how deep the connection went and what they censored.

We are about to find out.

Turn It Over

Judge Terry Doughty, appointed by former President Donald Trump, has ordered the administration to turn over email communications with big tech on this matter.

More specifically, the administration has three weeks to turn over Dr. Fauci and White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s emails that were sent to social media platforms.

The emails are in relation to a lawsuit filed by Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt and Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry.

The judge’s order stated, “This Court believes Plaintiffs are entitled to external communications by Jean-Pierre and Dr. Fauci in their capacities as White House Press Secretary and Chief Medical Advisor to the President to third-party social media platforms.”

In the initial filing, Landry stated, “having threatened and cajoled social-media platforms for years to censor viewpoints and speakers disfavored by the Left, senior government officials in the Executive Branch have moved into a phase of open collusion with social-media platforms under the Orwellian guise of halting so-called ‘disinformation,’ ‘misinformation’ and ‘malinformation.’

“As a result of these actions, there has been an unprecedented rise of censorship and suppression of free speech — including core political speech — on social media platforms.

“Not just fringe views, but perfectly legitimate, responsible viewpoints and speakers have been unlawfully and unconstitutionally threatened in the modern public square.”

The administration countered, “As we have said over and over again since the beginning of the administration in our battle against COVID-19, it has been critical for the American people to have access to factual, accurate, science-based information.”

Only, as we know now, that is not exactly the truth.

In far too many instances, this administration was not using science to base its decisions.

Not only that, but some officials in this administration, starting with the two at the top, were spreading misinformation about the vaccines before they were handed the election, then reversed course once they were headed to DC for the next four years.

You cannot simply silence people for asking legitimate questions about a virus and a Gen1 vaccine, but that is what Biden was trying to do.
