It is a fair assessment that most of the fans of “Yellowstone” are conservatives.
Most of today’s woke Democrats would find the show too male-toxic to watch.
Those fans just got a brutal reminder that while Kevin Costner plays a hard-nosed Wyoming cowboy, he is still a Hollywood elitist.
Read the Room
“Yellowstone” is a story about a Wyoming ranch family, of which Costner sits at the head of the table.
The show now has a cult following, of which Costner has probably just alienated.
Even though the people of Wyoming have disowned Cheney, this was Costner on set…
Costner is more of a man than most men. https://t.co/d7ao0v6T2I

The pushback was instant…
So perfect. Hollywood liberals for @Liz_Cheney. https://t.co/CUlCYMcxfA

The fact you think this helps in Wyoming is just another painful reminder of how out of touch with Wyomingites you really are.

Costner, someone that has always been perceived as a conservative by most, is not one at all.
In the last election, he was backing Pete Buttigieg.
On his political affiliation, he stated, “I’m an independent. I vote for who I think has the best interests of the country and how we sit in the world.
“I really go back and forth on my votes.
“The Democratic Party doesn’t represent everything that I think, and neither does the Republican Party right now—at all.”
This is just a brutal reminder that while Costner plays a great cowboy, he is really just like the rest of Hollywood that has its head stuck up its butt.
