How many times have I said it…
All you need to do is look at who appointed the judge in any case involving Donald Trump, and we can usually predict the outcome.
In this case, it was a Clinton judge, and Trump took another major loss.

In question is whether Trump has immunity for cases regarding the 2020 election outcome.
Trump maintains that he has absolute immunity as a sitting president at the time.
Civil rights groups disagree, and so does Judge Emmet Sullivan of the uber-liberal D.C. District Court.
In his ruling, Sullivan stated, “If former President Trump disrupted the certification of the electoral vote count, as plaintiffs allege here, such actions would not constitute executive action in defense of the Constitution.
“For these reasons, the court concludes that former President Trump is not immune from monetary damages in this suit.
Sullivan then went on a bit of a lecture, stating, “President Trump continues to spread false claims about the 2022 elections and continues to attempt to pressure officials into nullifying the election results: Plaintiffs extensively allege the efforts of former President Trump and his allies as recently as March 2022 to get state officials to overturn the election results; to endorse and provide financial support to candidates for office who supported his false claims of election fraud; all while fundraising for the 2024 presidential election.
“These allegations are perhaps the opposite of what the Trump Defendants term ‘vague suggestions of fear or intimidation.'”
The suit was filed by the NAACP and MWRO and has been dragging through the courts for the better part of two years now.
Trump has several similar cases in various courts around the country.
It is a fairly safe bet that Trump will appeal the ruling.
