Ocean Spa Massage Parlor claims they never rub you the wrong way but that’s not what a stack of citations the alleged brothel collected have to say. San Diego churchgoers were forced to endure lurid howls and moans of pleasure disrupting their rituals, so called the cops and reported a disturbance. Police are real familiar with the congregation’s neighboring business.
Loud brothel customers
If you plan to run an illegal business, like a brothel, its a good idea to keep things quiet and unobtrusive. The “lurid sex noises” emanating from a San Diego massage parlor started a police investigation.
They should have had more respect for their family oriented Christian neighbors. All the thumping, banging and moaning coming through the walls kept drowning out the choir.
While following up the noise complaint, San Diego cops arrested four of the worlds oldest professionals. The brothel gets reported all the time. Police say they’ve “fielded numerous complaints from businesses and residents” near the establishment.

Strange noises aren’t the only thing locals are reporting. They can’t walk down the sidewalk with their kids because they keep “seeing people have sex in cars.”
Authorities note that the string of complaints started an “extensive and thorough investigation,” of the alleged brothel, which “involved more than 125 hours of work.” Their probe successfully “documented at least four instances where employees offered cops sex.”
Officially, it was turned down. The reports don’t mention the times they went in to investigate, without whipping out their badge and making an arrest. After all, they had to be sure, didn’t they?
City takes action
The city of San Diego frowns on the operation of an illegal brothel. So, besides arresting four of the hookers, they “took legal action to shut the shady business down.” It seems the spa openly advertises their illicit services.
Cops “found nearly 1,300 online ads for sex at the parlor that were posted in the last five years.” Funny how nobody saw those ads until now.
The city prosecutor smelled a way to seize illegal profits for the municipal treasury. She quickly rushed down to the courthouse and filed paperwork against the brothel “imposing more than $100,000 in civil penalties and reimbursement for legal costs.”

That should help her job security and chances for career advancement.
“The owners of Ocean Spa have been masquerading as a legitimate business for far too long,” city attorney Mara Elliott declared. A brothel is not welcome inside city limits and especially not next to a church.
“Ocean Spa is a sex shop – not a massage parlor – and it has no place in our community or anywhere else. We look forward to holding these perpetrators accountable and to restoring peace in this complex.“
