Joe Biden was just dealt an embarrassing loss.

It may be short-lived, but it still goes to show how inept this administration and Senator Chuck Schumer are at running the show.

The reason Arianna Freeman failed to pass… Schumer scheduled her vote when he knew two Senators would be out of town for their primaries.

Idiot

That is the only word that I can think of to describe Schumer.

He knows he only has a 50-50 Senate.

He also knew that not a single Senator on the GOP side would support this nominee.

When you add in the historical implications (she would be the first black woman on the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals), well, you can see how embarrassing this is.

Freeman failed because Senators Maggie Hassan (D.N.H.) and Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) were both home for their respective primary votes.

When the votes were tallied, she failed to pass by a 47-50 vote.

Now, Schumer can put her back up on the floor, but he had already planned on debating the Respect for Marriage Act, which would have to be delayed.

With the clock ticking on the House, and possibly the Senate, you can see why this was just a completely wasted day for Chuckie.

That is something he nor Joe Biden can afford right now.
