Benjamin Satterley, the professional wrestler known to fans as Pac, has died at 40, All Elite Wrestling announced Sunday night, Sports Illustrated reports.

Shop Now“All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac,” the company said. AEW did not give details about what happened or the cause of death.
The news came barely a day after his last match. Pac wrestled Saturday night at AEW’s All Out pay-per-view in Chicago, where he lost the show’s opening match to Andrade.
A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began wrestling in 2004.
Before joining AEW, he was a member of the WWE roster under the ring name Neville, and Sports Illustrated notes he helped usher in WWE’s NXT era before reaching the main roster.
In AEW he became the first-ever All-Atlantic Champion, and he was a former AEW World Trios Champion.
He opened the All Out card in Chicago on Saturday night, and his death at 40 years old was announced by the company a day later, on Sunday night.
AEW has so far released no further details about the circumstances of his death beyond the brief statement.
