Shop NowMichael Hutto, one of the founders of Salt Life, was arrested in connection to the death of 18-year-old Lora Duncan.
Duncan was found Thursday at the Palm Beach Count hotel.
According to the police, she had been shot.
Hutto and some of his friends co-founded Salt Life in 2003, then sold the business in 2013 for approximately $40 million.
After hearing of the reported arrest and death, Salt Life stated, “Sadly we have learned one of Salt Life’s co-founders has been charged with a felony.
“Salt Life sends their utmost sympathies to the family and friends of the deceased.”
