The FBI is once again getting blasted by a whistleblower.
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) had yet another FBI agent come forward that provided some behind-the-scenes detail on how the FBI was treating January 6 cases.
According to Jordan, the agency was purposely overstating the threat to help promote the threat of domestic terrorism.
Dropping a Dime
The issue at hand is how the investigation was launched.
Rather than running the investigation from the DC office, as would be protocol, investigations were opened up based on where the subjects lived, making this appear more widespread.
Jordan was told, “The manipulative casefile practice creates false and misleading crime statistics. Instead of hundreds of investigations stemming from a single, black swan incident at the Capitol, FBI and DOJ officials point to significant increases in domestic violent extremism and terrorism around the United States.”
In a letter to FBI Director Wray, Jordan stated, “Such an artificial case categorization scheme allows FBI leadership to misleadingly point to ‘significant’ increases in DVE [domestic violent extremism] threats nationwide.”
Coincidentally, that backs up the recent narrative that Joe Biden and Democrats have been pushing.
Jordan discussed this during a recent appearance on Fox News…
This type of nonsense has led to people in this country not trusting agencies like the FBI or the government in general.
