It would appear that Iran is looking to pick a fight.
The terrorist nation is now trying to create a military presence in the west.
Reports stated that Iran is moving ships to Brazil and plans on camping out in the Panama Canal, a little too close to home for my liking.
Biden’s Weakness
In terms of what he is doing right now, Donald Trump has been disappointing, but there is no arguing the fact that if he was in the White House, this would not be happening.
Our enemies and adversaries are jumping all over Joe Biden’s weakness right now.
To that point, the Tehran Times reported that “Iran’s 86th flotilla warships is now sailing along the western shores of Latin America, the Navy second-in-command said.”
The State Department responded, “We are aware of these claims by Iran’s navy.
“We continue to monitor Iran’s attempts to have a military presence in the Western Hemisphere.”
No backlash, no warning, just that they are following the situation.
Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) unleashed on the Biden administration.
He stated, “Iran’s growing presence in the Western Hemisphere should come as no surprise as the Biden Administration has a history of appeasement and engaging with authoritarian regimes.
“Tehran’s ability to expand its military presence in our hemisphere should be a warning sign, especially as it seeks to support the left-wing Marxist regimes that will undermine peace and stability throughout the region.”
Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FL) also commented, stating, “Iran has been aggressively strengthening its ties to the Western Hemisphere through like-minded socialist regimes in Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba.
“They are also looking for opportunities elsewhere, and it’s no coincidence that Iranian ships are docking in Brazil just a month after a socialist retook power in the country.
“Instead of supporting the Iran-friendly socialist and left-wing regimes in Latin America, the Biden administration should be strengthening political forces committed to keeping our hemisphere free of antisemitic terror.”
This was a move that was openly stated earlier this month by Iran, and Biden did nothing to try to stop it.
In January, the Islamic Republic’s navy, Rear Adm. Shahram Irani, told the Iranian regime-controlled Fars News, “We have been present in all the strategic straits of the world, and we have not been present in only two straits — in one of which we will be present this year, and we are planning to be present in the Panama Canal.”
Russia invades Ukraine. China is threatening to take Taiwan. North Korea is threatening nuclear attacks. And now Iran is parked a few thousand miles off our coast.
That is the reality of how weak our enemies see us with the puppet in the Oval Office right now.
