Randi Weingarten, the president of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), just lost her mind on the steps of the Supreme Court.

Weingarten was leading a protest on the steps of the Supreme Court when she kind of lost her cookies a little bit.

She apparently does not agree that students that borrowed money to go to school should be paying back their own debt.

Losing It

Weingarten stated, “If we go to college and we stay in college, we need to actually make sure that it’s affordable – that it doesn’t take everything and everything that our families can do.

“And so that is why President Biden said we are going to deal with that … and the secretary of education has the right to do it.”

In reality, they don’t.

The dollar amount alone brings cause for concern, regardless of the situation.

No one individual should be able to wave a wand and hundreds of billions of debt to the American taxpayer.

Weingarten went on to compare the student loan debt to business loans, some of which were forgiven.

Well, not all of them were forgiven. Secondly, the money lost by businesses during the pandemic is gone forever and impacted future earnings, with many businesses going out of business.

The student loan payments were deferred during the pandemic, which his about as far as that needed to go.

Once those kids went back to work, they should have been paying that money back.
