A former presidential candidate in the Democrat Party just turned in her papers.
Tulsi Gabbard, a former congresswoman from Hawaii and 2020 presidential candidate, announced today that she is leaving the Democrat Party.
The writing was on the wall, but many believed she would stay within the Democrat Party to force change from within.

Of course, the trolls started in on her right away.
I will not bother to give them the publicity, as most of their posts were downright disrespectful.
It is the typical nonsense that if you do not support the liberal way, you immediately become the enemy.
The funny thing is, Gabbard’s agenda was clearly liberal, with a touch of moderate in there.
But that is no longer accepted by the Democrat Party.
Personally, I believe she would have been more useful to conservatives as a Democrat, as I am not sure where she will fit in if she decides to join the GOP.
She will have to make some significant policy changes or she will end up being on the outside soon enough.
