I spend a lot of time in diners, particularly Waffle House. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but there is just something about that place that just feels like home.
That being said, sometimes it can feel like an absolutely mad house, especially if you have to go there around the time the bars close.
Traveling the way that I do across the country, there are plenty of times where my wife and I went into a Waffle House after hours and it felt like we were extras from the movie Roadhouse.
Which is what we’re about to talk about. I just saw a video that I had to share and it defies description while at the same time giving me hope for this world.
This hateful excuse for a human being had been beating on his girlfriend. Right there in the restaurant with God and everybody watching.
When all of a sudden this absolute mountain of a human being decides that this wasn’t the night that this piece of garbage was going to be getting away with that.
He got up in his face and straight up told him “You touch her again and you will be my mother f***ing breakfast.”
Now, I am not the type of person that will use that kind of language in public unless the situation warrants it.
This giant of a man clearly read the situation correctly. Sometimes when you see someone doing something absolutely horrible like beating on their girlfriend, you need to use every weapon at your disposal.
So of course this thug did what every good thug does when he is confronted by someone of a larger stature who is trying to teach them the error of their ways, one of his homeboys stood up on the furniture and threatened to shoot the good Samaritan.
The guy didn’t budge. He looked them dead in the eyes and told them to take their best shot.
I wish more people were like this guy. There need to be more people in the world who are willing to stand up to folks like this absolute piece of garbage who felt so at ease that he could slap around a woman and get away with it.
Waffle House definitely needs to put massive truckers like this guy on the payroll to sit in the restaurant and act as deterrents to idiots like this thug and his friend.
