Sarah Stogner was a candidate in the 2022 Texas primary race for Railroad Commissioner.
As a way to draw attention to her campaign, she fired off a rather interesting campaign video on TikTok.
Now her critics are slamming her for the content of the video, but Stogner is not taking the attacks sitting down.

Stogner created quite the buzz when the video went live about two weeks ago.
She is straddling an oil pump wearing nothing but her cowboy hat, boots, and a bikini bottom.
This is not exactly what we have come to expect from Republican candidates…

After significant pushback over the video, she responded, “I knew it would be controversial.
“I didn’t realize it would incite the rage and anger that it did from the press.”
While talking to a local outlet, Stogner added, “I want to put my clothes back on and have a serious conversation.
“I want to talk about ground water.
“I want to talk about flaring.
“I want to talk about winterizing our infrastructure pipelines.
“But that’s boring. It doesn’t get clickbait.”

I can appreciate her effort to get some attention, but with less than 3,000 likes on the post, I am thinking she did not get quite the attention she had hoped.
