Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) just made one of the best summations of what happened to Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) that I have heard yet.
He described her current status in one simple word…
Broken.
Trump Broke Her
Cruz knows the wrath of Trump all too well.
He and Trump were “broken” after the 2016 election, but both of them managed to set their differences aside and work together during Trump’s presidency.
Cheney was not able to do that.
Cruz stated, “There are some people who Donald Trump just broke.
“They hate Trump so much that their mind went on fritz.
“And I got to say, Liz is unrecognizable.
“She has become a left-wing Democrat now.”
He later added, “Trump came into power, and her mind just shattered.
“Cheney’s circus act on the Jan. 6 commission is indistinguishable from what Nancy Pelosi would say.
“It’s indistinguishable from what [Senate Majority Leader] Chuck Schumer would say.”
Cheney still cannot let it go, creating a PAC to fight against Trump and his candidates in upcoming elections.
In addition to “broken,” there is another word for this… obsessed.
