Dr. Fauci is finally gone, and it is happening far sooner than we had hoped.

On Monday, Dr. Anthony Fauci confirmed that he would be stepping down from his position as the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).

This is a pre-emptive move by Fauci, knowing he will be under heavy fire if Republicans can take back the House and/or the Senate.

Good Riddance

Fauci, in announcing his decision, stated, “I am announcing today that I will be stepping down from the positions of Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and Chief of the NIAID Laboratory of Immunoregulation, as well as the position of Chief Medical Advisor to President Joe Biden.

“I will be leaving these positions in December of this year to pursue the next chapter of my career.”

Once one of the most respected researchers in all of science, Fauci has been proven to be a complete fraud during COVID.

Donald Trump checked him at every step, as did many high-profile Republicans, most notably Senator Rand Paul (R-KY).

His failings during COVID have prompted new looks at his previous responses, most notably during the early days of HIV/AIDS.

The reaction to his departure was about as expected from the right…

Fauci knows that he will be under serious fire once Republicans can take a chamber.

He is undoubtedly hoping that by leaving, he will lessen that heat, but it is not going to happen.

The GOP will come at him with everything they have to expose his failures and hold him accountable.
