So, it turns out, in today’s Catholic Church, if you support abortion, you get promoted.

That is the only way a slight from Pope Francis can possibly be perceived.

The incident I am referring to is the snubbing of the San Francisco Archbishop that called out Pelosi and mandated she could no longer receive communion for openly supporting abortion.

Not Today…

San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone has every right to believe he was on the Cardinals list that Pope Francis announced this weekend.

Instead, San Diego Bishop Robert W. McElroy was on the list.

This is important because of the public stance of these men.

Cordileone, as noted above, forbid Pelosi from receiving communion due to her stance on abortion.

McElroy, however, said that taking such a stance was divisive and Pelosi should be able to receive communion, as should any politician regardless of their stance on abortion.

Now, the Catholic Church has always stood against abortion for any reason, with no exception, yet Cordileone is being punished for enforcing this very basic rule of the church.

I do not fault anyone that worships in the Catholic faith, however, as I have stated before, the Catholic Church as an institution is just as corrupt as our government.

Pope Francis has proven time and again that he is a wannabe world leader, regularly chiming in on politics where he needs to keep his mouth shut.

He has railed against US policy on many occasions while having a massive security force of his own as well as being sheltered behind massive walls.

The man is a fraud, and skipping over Cordileone in favor of McElroy was a clear message, one that should infuriate every Catholic in the church.
