NPR is a government-funded media outlet.
However, the outlet has made a significant push to the left in recent years.
Several stories reported by the outlet in recent years have clearly been twisted to take a shot at conservatives, but there is simply no excuse for its most recent story regarding Supreme Court Justice Gorsuch.
They Got It Wrong
NPR published a report a few days ago hanging Gorsuch out to dry…

It made him sound like a villain to the point Justice Sotomayor was forced to work from home because Gorsuch declined requests to wear a mask.
The report had no sooner been published when Gorsuch and Sotomayor released a joint statement to debunk the story…

Since then, Justice Roberts has also commented that the story as it is portrayed in NPR never happened.
Yet, even after every subject in the story has pushed back, including the alleged victim, NPR says it stands behind the report and will not correct it.
So, apparently anonymous sources are now more credible than the people in the story?
This is something we would expect in China, not the United States by a government-funded outlet.
I think Republicans and Democrats alike need to take a serious look at ending the funding for NPR.
If it wants to be a source for left-wing propaganda, there is no way our tax dollars can be permitted to continue to fund it.
