A top Russian official is sounding off and it has the entire world on edge.
NATO countries have given Putin quite the leash during this war with Ukraine.
At the same time, many NATO countries have pitched in to send aid to Ukraine to help the country defeat Russia.
Comments by Dmitry Rogozin, the head of the Russian Space Agency Roscosmos, now threaten to escalate this entire situation.
We Will Destroy You
Why someone would even start talking about nuclear war with tensions as high as they are is beyond me.
However, on Sunday, Rogozin started talking doom, claiming that if a nuclear escalation occurred, “NATO countries will be destroyed by Russia in half-an-hour.”
I am not sure if this man realizes how many nuclear warheads are pointed at his country right now.
This is far from the first time this man has made such a claim.
For instance, after seeing a series of tweets by Rogozin, former astronaut Terry Virts stated, “He just threatened that the space station might de-orbit on American or European soil. He said it doesn’t fly over Russian soil, so we don’t need to worry about it.”
He added, “His behavior has been very erratic recently, like Putin.
“I don’t think anything bad is going to happen.
“I hope we can maintain our partnership, but the things that Putin has been doing are so dramatically over the red line.”
Over the line… I would say that is a massive understatement.
