The Democrat Party is nothing without the black vote in this country.
They may soon be losing that once word of this report gets out.
The real number one cause for the Democrat Party, illegal immigration, is having a devasting effect on the black community in this country, per a report from the United States Commission on Civil Rights.
They Know It
First and foremost, this report is nothing new, just buried.
Believe it or not, the report dates back to 2008.
This is even more damning for Democrats because that is when Barack Obama started to make the big push for illegal immigrants after winning the 2008 presidential election.
The report found that illegal immigration has tended to “depress both wages and employment rates for low-skilled citizens, a disproportionate number of whom are black.”
The Commission recommended that the Bureau of Labor Statistics compile data on how illegal immigration impacts these workers.
More than 14 years later, the BLS is still not compiling that data.
Peter Kirsanow, the longest-serving member of the Commission, writes in the report that “there is ample evidence to suggest that at a minimum, [illegal immigration] has had an aggravating effect on both the displacement of low-skilled American workers and the racial divide in employment.
“This is because illegal immigration tends to increase the supply of low-skilled, low-wage labor already available in the U.S. labor market.”
So Democrats have been sitting on this information for 14 years, knowing full well their actions were hurting the very minority community for which they pretend to protect.
At some point, these communities are going to realize they are nothing more than a pawn in this political game.
