It only took two sets of charges to be filed, but Sam Brinton has finally been terminated from the Biden administration.
After having been charged in two separate thefts, Sam Brinton has been terminated.
The Department of Energy confirmed his termination earlier this week

Brinton made headlines when he joined the Department of Energy as the first openly non-binary administration official.
Brinton was charged in October related to a theft of luggage at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport.
When that story gained notoriety, officials in Las Vegas recognized Brinton and matched his picture to the surveillance video of a theft that happened at Harry Reid International Airport in Nevada.
The administration, to that point, had only stated that Brinton was on leave.
That status changed on Monday.
A statement was released via the Daily Beast that stated, “Sam Brinton is no longer a DOE employee. By law, the Department of Energy cannot comment further on personnel matters.”
Initially, Brinton had even denied doing anything wrong, stating, “If I had taken the wrong bag, I am happy to return it, but I don’t have any clothes for another individual.
“That was my clothes when I opened the bag.”
That, of course, was a complete and utter lie.
Brinton had also been seen using that luggage on multiple trips.
Brinton is facing five years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine for the first charge, with a scheduled hearing upcoming for the second charge.
