The Department of Justice and the Attorney General have just crossed a line that we have never seen in this country before.

On Monday, the FBI raided the home of former President Donald J. Trump.

Needless to say, Trump was livid and the GOP is fuming over what they believe is a politically motivated move to block Trump from returning to office.

This Just Doesn’t Happen

Michael Tabman, former head of the FBI’s Minneapolis Field Office, stated, “We just haven’t investigated presidents after they’ve served their term.

“But it is a huge move by the FBI in that the political sensitivities are clear.

“It’s obvious that they’re dealing on a very, sort of tenuous political climate when you go out and you investigate a president, especially one who says he may run for office again.”

He continued, “You have to certainly, as most people know, produce probable cause … to first get prosecutors who want to write this and present it to a judge – and then present it to a judge who has to agree that you have shown probable cause that a crime has been committed, there is evidence of the crime in the location that you state and at the time you plan to execute the warrant.

“So, there’s a lot of information that you have to be very convincing of to a federal judge and they scrutinize these.”

Lara Trump also discussed the raid on Fox News…

Trump has openly cooperated with the DOJ since he removed documents he said he thought were personal items after leaving office.

National Archives reclaimed 15 cases of material, with this raid apparently being an effort to see if more documents remained behind.

One thing is for sure… if this raid came up empty, this administration will have fueled the Trump movement like never before.

Just taking a quick temperature, even people that did not like Trump were mortified by this raid, probably ensuring that if Trump does run, he will be moving back into the White House in 2025.
