Last week, the White House Correspondents’ Association resumed its annual dinner.
At the front of the room were all the powers that be in this administration, except for Dr. Fauci.
Fauci did not attend because he was afraid of the coof, and how he is reportedly sounding off behind the scenes that White House officials disregarded his warning.
But the Masks!
Fauci went from someone who laughed about masks’ efficacy to becoming the biggest advocate for wearing them, in layers, actually.
I can still see those pictures of one of the most powerful and influential doctors on the planet wearing multiple masks.
Ironically, oftentimes, the masks he was wearing were the cloth masks that are about as effective as a piece of Swiss cheese holding back an overflowing river.
Fauci is now apparently upset that after he expressed concern over the WHCA dinner, the White House went ahead and attended, giving off the impression the pandemic is over.
Politico reported that on a recent call, Dr. Fauci “expressed frustration with the growing perception that the pandemic is effectively over. He said he feared people are losing sight of the need to continue protecting the nation’s most vulnerable.”
The report stated that while Fauci did not call out anyone by name, he “questioned why so many people felt comfortable gathering maskless indoors amid a fresh surge in Covid cases.”
Or, maybe, this administration has gotten what it needed from this pandemic and they could care less what Fauci says now.
