If you are a fan of mob and cop movies, I have no doubt that Ray Liotta is among your favorite actors.
Sadly, he has passed away.
Liotta was filming “Dangerous Waters” in the Dominican Republic when he died.
He was 67 years old.

Liotta started acting in 1980, going the usual route of some brief TV appearances and daytime soap.
When “Field of Dreams” was released, Liotta became a fan favorite.
The following year, however, his career exploded when he played the lead in “Goodfellas” with Joe Pesci and Robert DeNiro.
As good as Liotta was, his biggest award was a Primetime Emmy as a Guest for his role on “ER” as Charlie Metcalf, an alcoholic ex-con suffering from cirrhosis.
He has been nominated for a host of other awards, winning a few, but he never hoisted the Oscar.
The only award won by “Goodfellas” was Best Actor in a Supporting Role, by Joe Pesci.
At the time of his death, Liotta had three films that were shooting, including “Dangerous Waters,” which is what he was filming at the time of his death.
While Liotta’s spokesperson confirmed his death, the cause of death has not yet been released.
