Tragedy struck the set of the popular TV show “Law & Order” today.

Very early this morning, a crew member of “Law & Order: Organized Crime” was shot dead in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY.

The motive is unclear and still under investigation.

Everyone Shocked

Johnny Pizarro was gunned down Tuesday morning.

The 31-year-old crew member was charged with saving parking spaces for the show’s upcoming shoot in the neighborhood.

A man opened the driver’s side door of his car and opened fire.

Authorities are not sure if they was a misunderstanding over a parking space or if this stemmed from something else.

A fellow crew member stated, “It was crazy.

“I didn’t hear an argument or nothing. It was quiet, early morning.

“It was just a pop, and the [gunman] ran up towards Nassau [Avenue].

“I only heard one bang, but I don’t know how many shots.”

Pizarro was shot in the face and neck, and transported to Woodhull Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead around 6:00 a.m. EDT.

The suspect, dressed in all black, fled the scene on foot and has not been apprehended.

Police only described him as a man in black pants and a black hoodie.

This was business as usual for the show, which regularly clears out neighborhoods starting 24 hours before a shoot.

This particular location is a regular spot for the show to shoot due to its proximity to the studio.
