On Thursday, the Washington Free Beacon dropped a bit of a bombshell report on the Biden administration.
The Biden administration’s idea of solving the drug problem in this country appears to be to supply drug addicts with better equipment.
If you recall, there was a big to-do earlier this year when the “safe smoking kits” were announced.
At the time, the administration said there would not be crack pipes in the kits.
Well, the Washington Free Beacon just conducted a little research, and what they found does not mesh with what the White House is saying.
Semantics
The White House has not yet released the funding for the program, so Press Secretary Jen Psaki was playing words with friends when she was asked about the kits.
She stated, “No federal funding has gone to it.
“This policy does not allow for crack pipes to be included.
“I would just note that this is a bit of a conspiracy theory that’s been spread out there.
“It’s not accurate. There’s important drug treatment programs for people who have been suffering from what we’ve seen as an epidemic across the country.
“And money is not used for crack pipes.”
However, I would highly encourage you to check the Beacon report, as it has pictures of the kits.
My guess here is that the White House will say that while crack pipes may be in the kits, the federal money will not actually buy the pipes.
Regardless, if one penny of federal money goes to the organization supplying these kits, especially after 107,000 Americans overdosed last year, there should be national outrage.
This administration could care less about the American people, and programs like this and policies such as Biden’s open borders prove it.
Because, just in case people don’t realize it, those loose borders are where most of these drugs are coming from right now.
