Two California teens were arrested for impersonating ICE agents, in order to rob Hispanic migrants. They would have been much better off sticking with basic armed robbery. The state’s practically decriminalized that. Also, the chances are slim that an illegal alien would call the cops. Now, they’ll face extra charges for pretending to be officers.
Migrants knew teens weren’t ICE
The Anaheim Police Department made an announcement Thursday night, June 20, that they arrested two teens for robbing migrants while wearing ICE gear.
They frown on “pretending to be federal law enforcement agents while targeting and robbing Hispanic people in Orange County.” Laurentiu Baceanu and Vasile Alexandru, both 19, are connected to similar crimes “elsewhere in the Western United States.”
Cops made the announcement just after they had the pair in cuffs, “about five hours after a pair of robberies in Anaheim were reported.”

Hispanic migrants didn’t think it was fair to be robbed by ICE agents so they complained about it. Things like that give the city a bad name and that’s not good for the home of Disneyland.
It didn’t take long for detectives to connect the clues. The migrants gave a perfect description of the getaway car.
In both of the evening’s robberies, “the suspects approached the victims, identified themselves as Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agents, demanded cash from the victims, and then fled in a blue SUV.”

Located the Audi
After the be on the lookout report went out, the blue Audi Q7 SUV was spotted in Fullerton. Baceanu and Alexandru were taken into custody without incident and hauled back to Anaheim for booking.
The pair face multiple charges, beginning with “several robbery counts.” Posing as ICE to rob migrants is something the liberal state will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.
Both the impersonators are being held without bail. Records show that Baceanu is being held at the Theo Lacy Facility but surprisingly, “Alexandru did not appear in a search.”

This wasn’t the first time the banditos targeted illegal migrants.
Investigators relate that they think “Alexandru and Baceanu have committed similar robberies in Anaheim, Orange County, and the Western United States.”
There’s been a whole string of robberies targeting migrants. The outlaws flash a badge and demand “the victim’s property.“
