Joe Biden is getting a little power crazy.
Reports are blowing up today that he will issue a national emergency declaration.
It is not for immigration or any other major issue this country is dealing with right now.
It is for abortion pills.
What Emergency?
The Roe v. Wade reversal has Democrats losing their minds.
Justice Thomas did not make the situation any better by saying he would like to overturn a ruling related to contraceptives.
Even so, declaring a public health emergency for the abortion pill is a bit extreme.
That did not stop numerous powerful Democrats from penning a letter to Biden stating, “While it is impossible to immediately undo the damage inflicted by the Supreme Court’s repeal of Roe v. Wade, the Biden-Harris Administration must use every tool within its power to fight back.
“We urge you to declare national and public health emergencies over Americans’ access to reproductive care.”
I am still baffled how abortion gets classified as “reproductive care” by Democrats, but I digress.
The consensus is that Biden will declare an emergency to ensure these birth control measures remain available as states put in abortion restrictions.
Congress needs to get off its tail and pass workable legislation, as this is clearly out of hand at this point.
As I have stated before, there was a middle ground to be had if Democrats would have been reasonable, but this is just blatant abuse of power by Biden.
