Now that Elon Musk has taken over Twitter, something really crazy is happening.
Twitter has started to fact-check Joe Biden.
In the space of 48 hours, two Biden tweets have been fact-checked, with one of them getting deleted!
He Doesn’t Get It…
The White House put up a tweet touting Joe Biden’s “leadership.”
It tried to make it sound like Joe Biden had done something to increase social security checks over and above the usual cost of living increase.
The tweet stated, “Seniors are getting the biggest increase in their Social Security checks in 10 years through President Biden’s leadership.”
In reality, the only thing that Biden contributed to the increase in payment is his disastrous economy.
The cost of living increase is based on inflation.
With inflation that is over eight percent, of course the social security check payments are going to go up.
So, when Biden made his tweet, the fact-checkers added that the rise in payments was “due to the annual cost of living adjustment, which is based on the inflation rate.”
When the White House was asked about the tweet, Karine Jean-Pierre spun it right up, saying the tweet lacked context, so they took it down (per federal law, the tweet has been archived, not removed).
There is no context, however, no matter how they spin it, because the increase was due to inflation, period.
Sorry, Joe, you lose again!
