If you are a Democrat and you believe that Joe Biden is making this country a safer place, you are a fool.

We need look no further than the number of prosecutions for illegal border crossings that are being carried out.

Even with record border numbers, this administration has prosecuted only 20 percent of the cases that were prosecuted in 2020.

Let Them In

When you think of the number of crimes we see reported in the media by illegal immigrants, clearly, not everyone being let into this country is a good guy.

So, we have to wonder why even though border encounters are setting records, why so few cases are being prosecuted.

To that point, in the fiscal year 2020, half of which was under Trump and half under Biden, there were 13,213 cases sent to federal authorities for prosecution.

In the fiscal year 2021, all under Biden, there were only 2,896 cases referred.

Again, the encounters numbers in 2021 were significantly higher, yet we have only 20 percent of the cases referred.

Even Department of Homeland Security officials are starting to push back.

The Washington Free Beacon could not get an official to go on record in terms of a name, but one official anonymously stated, “The lack of accountability from this administration encourages the worst people flooding our borders, criminals, to keep violating our laws until they finally commit a crime so egregious that the Department of Justice is forced to prosecute.”

Just remember this the next time you see a news story in your community about a crime committed by an illegal immigrant.

Since most outlets do not even report these stories nationally, that is the only way you will see it.
