The senseless violence continues in Democrat-run cities.
This time it was Atlanta.
During a recreation center baseball game, shots were fired.
When the dust settled, six people were shot, two of them fatally.
Senseless
I don’t know what gets people to this point over something so trivial, especially when children are around.
The Dunbar Recreational Center on the southside of Atlanta turned into a warzone during a baseball game.
A 30-something man, Rashad Rogers, and a 33-year-old woman, April Sparks, were killed during the shooting.
Among the other four victims was a 6-year-old child that is now listed in critical condition.
After the shooting, Atlanta Deputy Chief Charles Hampton Jr. stated, “What we know so far is that there was some type of baseball, softball game ongoing, and some type of argument ensued and next thing you know, there was an exchange of gunfire.”
He continued, “As we’ve said countless times, we’re just asking the citizens just to find a way to resolve conflict without weapons.
“We’re just asking people to step away, we’re asking people just to let bygones be bygones.
“Any time that we have any tragedy like this – any death is a tragedy – then as we have kids that are also involved … this is not a place for gunplay.
“So, we’re just asking everyone to leave the guns at home.”
Local police have not yet made an arrest in the case.
