Reports are breaking all over the internet that President Trump just got the worst possible news from Attorney General William Barr.
Axios was the first to break the story, and Trump got word of it while he was doing Rush Limbaugh’s radio show.
According to the report, the Durham Report will NOT be ready before election day.
This is truly a nightmare scenario, which is exactly how a Republican aide described it.
He stated, “This is the nightmare scenario.
“Essentially, the year and a half of arguably the number one issue for the Republican base is virtually meaningless if this doesn’t happen before the election.”
When Trump got the news, he was NOT happy, to say the least.
The President stated, “I don’t know that he made that statement, I would be very disappointed in him.”
Trump continued, “I will be very disappointed if that Axios piece that you read to me is true.
“Because they’ve had plenty of time to get this done.”
He added, “The Republicans, they don’t play the tough game.
“If this were the other side you would have had 25 people in jail for the rest of their lives with what they found.”
