The no-fly zone…
It would have saved countless Ukrainian lives.
However, it probably would have also elevated this conflict into a possible World War.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky believes it should have been done, regardless.

Russia was adamant that if NATO countries implemented a no-fly zone of Ukraine, it would have considered such a declaration an act of war against Russia.
If a declaration had been made, it would have to be enforced, which would have required NATO forces to become directly involved in this conflict with their own forces.
It would have been a chess move, with only one set of options left for Putin.
He would have had to back down and make a move for peace or declare the start of World War III against NATO countries.
Zelensky seems to think that Putin would have backed down.
He stated, “Thirteen days, during which we’ve been just hearing promises, when they tell us that yes, very, very soon you’ll get help in the sky, there’ll be planes given to us.
“The fault lies with the invaders.
“But the responsibility for this lies also with those who have not been able to make an obviously necessary decision somewhere in the West, somewhere in the offices for 13 days.
“Those who have not yet secured the Ukrainian sky from Russian murderers.
“Those who did not save our cities from airstrikes, from these bombs, missiles, although they can.”
NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg explained why NATO has not done this, reiterating the points I made above.
Stoltenberg stated, “The only way to implement a no-fly zone is to send NATO fighter planes into Ukrainian airspace, and then impose that no-fly zone by shooting down Russian planes.
“We understand the desperation, but we also believe that if we did that, we would end up with something that could end in a full-fledged war in Europe.”
