When the Republican National Convention gets into full swing next week, Tucker Carlson will be one of the headline attractions. The former Fox News host “will be speaking on the night Donald Trump is nominated.” This year’s convention promises to be a rousing event.

Tucker Carlson will be one of the keynote speakers at the big Republican National Convention, which kicks off in Wisconsin on Monday, July 15. The conservative journalist will be taking the stage “on the night Donald Trump is nominated.”
That’s expected to be “after a roll call vote” on Monday. The convention runs through Thursday.
The big news broke on Saturday morning when New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan shared an update noting “that Carlson will have a prime time speaking slot.”

They got the tip from “two people with direct knowledge of the schedule.”
The former Fox personality moved his show over to social media network X. That way, the “leading voice in MAGA media” can produce his own material, without network censorship. When he flew to Moscow for a one-on-one interview with Vlad Putin, his trips through the subway and grocery stores were even more attention grabbing.
Carlson exposed how amazingly clean and friendly the experience can be, when laws are actually enforced. Russian cops may rule with an iron fist but public transportation is safe to ride and the detergent isn’t kept locked away from customers.
Convention security high
Even before the attempted assassination of Donald Trump on Saturday, convention security was expected to be at an all time high. Tucker Carlson isn’t the only conservative who favors law and order over anarchy and social schemes.
Because Republicans are making the restoration of civil order a big part of their platform, they started by keeping all the Pro-Hamas protesters cordoned off a block away from the convention. Inside the outer perimeter, attendees will be allowed to carry firearms. They won’t be permitted inside the convention hall though. Especially, not after what happened in Butler, PA.
Carlson has always been close with once and future President Trump and will be a yuuuuge part of “an overall entirely Trump-focused convention.” As soon as his speaking slot was leaked, the social media reaction was viral. Democrats are freaking out because “among the delegates are some of the individuals who were selected as ‘fake electors‘ in Trump’s unsuccessful scheme to overturn the lawful results of the 2020 election and remain in power.”

Democrats should actually read the procedure in question. Their lawmakers did and changed the wording because they know Trump was right. Mike Pence was looking for the slightest excuse to wuss out after claiming to be reluctantly on board with the historic attempt. Some say the whole barbarian invasion was engineered specifically into rattling him enough to change his mind. Which is exactly what happened.
Another thing that Tucker Carlson will be on hand for at the convention is the unveiling of the official party platform. “During the convention, delegates will also approve the party’s platform, over some objections.” It’s already been announced that they’re adopting the platform of Donald Trump’s campaign.
On the eve of the convention, it’s being reported that President Trump has rewritten his acceptance speech in light of the assassination attempt. He was all set to rip Joe Biden a new one, along with all the Democrats who are propping him up in power. Instead, he tossed the whole thing in the trash and started over. His new theme is “bring the country together.” It will be interesting to hear what Carlson has to say when he makes his next post.
