White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is headed to greener pastures.
MSNBC has been looking to fill the void since Rachel Maddow went on leave.
According to a breaking AXIOS report, Psaki will be the one to try to fill that void.
She’s Done
In my humble opinion, Psaki has been a disaster from the outset.
After seeing Kayleigh McEnany knock it out of the park on a daily basis, we got stuck with Psaki and “let’s circle back.”
It would now appear the daily dose of lies and covering for Joe Biden have finally taken their toll.
So, instead of making a paltry six-figure salary as Joe Biden’s spinner, Jen will probably get a massive payday from MSNBC to try to stop the swoon that has been going on since Maddow left to make a movie.
According to the Axios report, Psaki will be leaving this spring.
She will now join former Kamala Harris spokesperson Symone Sanders at the network for a liberal one-two punch of former Biden officials.
Current Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is the likely successor, but she is far from a lock to take the position.
During her stints filling in for Psaki, she lowered the bar considerably.
Still, I don’t see Joe Biden having the guts to pass her over as the obvious successor to Psaki.
