There are times when political differences are set aside.
One of those would be the death of a child.
Sadly, that is the news we are reporting today.
Rep. Sean Casten (D-IL) announced the death of his teenage daughter on Monday.

Casten did not offer many details, and few have been reported yet, other than this beautiful young lady is no longer with us…

Earlier this year, Casten made a post about how excited his daughter was to sign the petition for his election.
She would be 18 before election day, making this upcoming election her first time voting…

According to local police, they were called to the Casten house very early Monday morning.
When police arrived, they found his daughter, Gwen, unresponsive.
She was declared dead at the scene.
Casten has served in Congress for two terms, running for the third time in a redrawn district against Rep. Marie Newman.
