Rumors are swirling that Donald Trump is finally starting to sweat.
The January 6 Selection Committee called an unscheduled hearing today.
That hearing was to have Cassidy Hutchinson testify before the committee and the American people.
Bombshell or Bomb?
Hutchinson is the former aide to Mark Meadows.
Meadows in the former chief of staff for Trump at the time of the January 6 riot.
Hutchinson has been the source of all the recent goodies the committee has revealed, such as Trump’s quote about Mike Pence, Meadows’ belief that there could be violence on January 6, and a few other tasty morsels.
If you recall, the committee delayed a scheduled hearing last week because it came across a “slew” of new evidence.
This would appear to be more information from Hutchinson, who has already talked to the committee for more than a dozen hours of testimony.
She is being touted as the smoking gun that will end any hope that Trump has of running for office again.
I have seen several reports throughout the day that Trump has been brushing off the witnesses presented so far, but Hutchinson has him worried.
Is this the bombshell that takes Trump down or is this just more smoke and fluff from Democrats?
By the time tonight’s news airs, we will probably know.
