Last week, Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) was given a dose of reality.
She may not believe it, but she is swimming upstream in this fight against Trump.
Even after losing her seat, she will still fight Trump, announcing the start of a new PAC to oppose Trump candidates and handing seats over to Democrats.
Her Mission
Cheney was stunned that people did not buy into her fight against Trump.
When Wyoming voters headed to the polls last week, she was ousted by more than a 2:1 margin.
Then she proceeded to give a disgraceful concession speech, will not endorse the primary winner, then proceeded to dump on Wyoming voters that did not back her.
Additionally, she announced the start of a new PAC, stating, “I’m going to be very focused on working to ensure that we do everything we can not to elect election deniers.
“We’ve got election deniers that have been nominated for really important positions all across the country.
“And I’m going to work against those people. I’m going to work to support their opponents.”
At the top of her hit list will be Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Missouri’s Josh Hawley.
What I find really interesting here is that Democrats claimed elections were rigged when Bush and Trump won, but nobody ever said a word.
Now Trump says there are issues, with record voter fraud cases being prosecuted, and Cheney wants to pretend all is well in the election world.
I have never stated that there was enough voter fraud to overturn a presidential election, but there is surely enough to impact local races.
Again, I point to the recent Democrat primary in Texas where Rep. Cuellar won by about 200 votes.
That is why all election fraud needs to be rooted out and ended.
As far as Cheney goes, I would suspect her PAC will do well because there will be big Democrat donations made to it, but it will eventually fade.
Cheney is done as a Republican, the only problem being she just won’t accept her fate.
