Another casualty of the Uvalde, TX, mass shooting has occurred.
This time, however, it was not a bullet that killed the person.
It was a broken heart.

Joe Garcia, the husband of slain teacher Irma Garcia, has suffered a massive heart attack and died.
Mr. Garcia was devastated by the loss of his wife at the hands of a madman.
According to accounts, Irma had used her own body to shield her students during the attack, literally sacrificing herself so her students could survive the attack.
He was last publicly seen placing flowers for his wife at a memorial.
He lost his high school sweetheart and wife of 24 years, and it was just too much for him…

Even worse is that four children are left behind.
His death has hit many just as hard as the deaths of all those children… it is truly heartbreaking.
