It’s not like Kim K. needs help going viral, but an old photo shoot is starting to blow up all over the internet again.

Shop NowThe picture came from a Valentine’s Day advertisement for her KKW line.
HollywoodLife, which covered it when it was released, described Kardashian, then 41, lying in the sand in a nude string bikini when her top came off as she rolled around. She covered her bare chest with one hand. HollywoodLife embedded the image from the KKW Fragrance account on Twitter.
The outlet suggested the ad might be the sexiest of her KKW campaigns to that point, and pointed to the finishing touches: a smoky eye and a glossy brown lip.
The ad arrived around the time Kardashian landed the cover of Vogue.
According to HollywoodLife, she wore a patterned Loewe dress with a geometric bodice for the cover, and the shoot also featured a white Balmain dress with cut-out sides and a skintight white Balenciaga bodysuit worn with elbow-length gloves. HollywoodLife singled out that Balenciaga look, photographed from behind, as perhaps the most daring image from the shoot.
More than four and a half years after the KKW ad, her marketing still puts her in front of the camera. On October 31, Reality Tea reported that Kardashian was fronting a retro-themed SKIMS holiday campaign alongside her sisters Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie.
She posed in the limited-edition Waffle Henley Dress, a plunging black minidress covered in tiny reindeer and blossom prints that retails for $108, and paired it with thigh-high stockings and a sparkling V-shaped necklace. Her hair was done in a 1960s-inspired style, with blunt curtain bangs and a low side-swept ponytail.
She shared the photos on Instagram with the caption “Skimsmas w my sisters.” According to Reality Tea, the SKIMS holiday collection also includes pajamas, lounge sets, and knitwear, with many prints available only while supplies last.
The 2022 beach image itself is unchanged since it first ran.
