Trump has been going toe-to-toe with elected officials in Georgia, but he may have just caught a break.
Even though the election has already been certified in Georgia, the Secretary of State announced there are roughly 250 ongoing investigations into alleged voter fraud, some of which have some real teeth.
At least one of those cases involves something President Trump brought up the other day, suggesting there were more ballots than envelopes, which would clearly point to fraud.
Even so, he is still pushing the narrative that these allegations are not enough to overturn the election, also claiming that those discussing fraud right now “are exploiting the emotions of many Trump supporters with fantastic claims, half-truths, misinformation and, frankly, they’re misleading the president as well, apparently.”
That, however, is not the point.
Regardless of whether or not the election results get overturned, the American people deserve to know if there was even a hint of fraud in this election.
