Well, I cannot wait to see what Donald Trump has to say about this one.
With a lead of fewer than 1,000 votes, almost 900 ballots disqualified, and about 10,000 absentee ballots from overseas still to be counted, Trump wanted Mehmet Oz to declare victory.
The election board says not so fast, however, as the margin of 0.1 percent means an automatic recount has been triggered.

Oz is in a very close race against Dave McCormick.
His lead automatically triggered a recount, but that is not even the problem here.
There were almost 900 ballots that were ruled invalid because they did not have a date on them, but they were received before the election.
Due to a precedent in place from a judicial election that experienced the same problem, those ballots will more than likely count.
McCormick has a significant edge in those ballots, so the margin is likely to be down to only a few hundred if they are counted.
There is no report on where the absentee ballots from the military and those overseas fall right now, so that is anyone’s guess.
I do know this, however.
If Oz loses after those invalid ballots are made valid and the absentee votes are counted, we will hear Donald Trump calling foul from coast-to-coast.
I have to ask… Pennsylvania, when will you figure out how to hold a proper election?
