Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin made a pretty slick move last week that nobody seemed to catch in the mainstream media.

Austin extended the National Guard deployment order at the border.

This was an order that was first put into play by Trump in 2018.

Now, that order has been extended through the end of Fiscal Year 2023.

Why the Deployment?

Generally speaking, the only time the National Guard is deployed in a domestic situation is during a time of crisis.

Mass rioting, hurricanes, flooding, etc.

So, I have a question.

If there is no crisis at the border, then why is Austin extending the deployment through FY2023?

The order was passed through without much fanfare and from what I can see, there was no statement made about the extension by the Pentagon or the White House.

This is something the mainstream media should be pouncing on right now.

Every talking head associated with this administration representing the Pentagon, national security, and the White House needs to be peppered with questions on this.
