It is not often that you hear a Democrat compliment the right.
That just happened, however, and of all people, it was Hillary Clinton.
Hillary complimented conservatives on their relentlessness, saying they don’t have anything like that on the left.
They Don’t Stop
Hillary was addressing the fact that Democrats never codified Roe v. Wade when they had the White House and control of Congress.
For some reason, Dems thought this decision would never be challenged even though the late RBG had admitted numerous times the ruling was flawed and ripe to be overturned.
Clinton explained, “We didn’t take it seriously, and we didn’t understand the threat.
“Most Democrats, most Americans, did not realize we are in an existential struggle for the future of this country.”
She then stated “[The right is] relentless. You know, they take a loss, they get back up, they regroup, they raise more money.
“It’s tremendously impressive the way that they operate. And we have nothing like it on our side.”
From there, it was her usual schtick that if the right wins, our democracy will be over.
Clinton continued, “I mean, if we don’t make the right decision in this election in our country, we may never have another actual election.
“I will put that out there because I believe it. And if we no longer have another actual election, we will be governed by a small minority of right-wing forces that are well organized and well-funded and are getting exactly what they want in terms of turning the clock back on women.”
If anything, they should be happy Trump is the nominee because his position is far more moderate than others on the GOP ticket.
My guess is that Dems will never come to the table with a real abortion solution, however, because they need this to generate votes during each cycle.
They thrive on chaos, not solutions.
