The death of Fiona Hepler Lowe, the 13-year-old daughter of actor Chad Lowe and producer Kim Painter, has been ruled a suicide, Daily Voice reported, citing People magazine’s account of the coroner’s findings.

Fiona was pronounced dead at 1:14 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at a local hospital.
Her parents announced the loss in a statement to People. “She was the light of our lives. Her passing is devastating for our entire family,” they said, asking for “prayers and privacy at this time.”
The statement closed with an appeal to others: “If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.”
Fiona is survived by her parents and two sisters, Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10. Chad Lowe is 58. Her uncle is actor Rob Lowe, 62.
The family has asked that its privacy be respected, and the report gives no further account of the circumstances.
