Mom Shares Beyond Strange Bath Ritual

There is no luxury better than taking a bath or showering. Seriously.

Sure, I love all the nice things that I have, but at the end of the day that feeling that you have when you have just stepped out of the tub or just finished taken a shower cannot be matched.

Don’t believe me? Ok, don’t shower for a week. Then you’ll see what I mean.

I have driven across this great country plenty of times in the course of my life. Before I had my camper, the first thing that I would do when I got in off the road and into a hotel was to take a shower.

Heck, even in the camper now I made sure I had good sized water tanks so I can shower whenever I want.

There are some people that for whatever reason though, like to go around stinking like a pile of hot garbage. Never understood that.

Even a couple of minutes a day is enough to at least get ya not stinking.

It’s why one of the most purchased things at large truck stops are those private shower stalls.

That being said, there are some folks that have a weird idea of what it means to be clean.

Take for instance the Gracey family of Colorado. Recently, and it beats me as to why, they announced to the whole world that for the entirety of the summer they were not going to bathe or shower.

Instead, they were going to just go in the pool. So, no soap. Just getting into the water and moving around a bit.

You see, this is proof that sometimes people get what they think are good ideas and don’t really think them out one bit.

First of all, it’s not so much the being in the water that gets you clean, it’s the rubbing of the soap on the body that does it.

Second of all, why do most public swimming pools have some kind of shower facility that you use after you go for a swim? It’s to wash all the chemicals off of your body.

The Graceys are being pretty reckless in thinking that this is a good idea, especially with two young children.
